Whether you're exploring New York City or making the most of a layover, King Manor Museum is an easy and rewarding stop. Located just a few blocks from the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) and with convenient connections to the AirTrain and JFK Airport, the museum is easy to reach by public transportation.

Spend an hour discovering the historic home of Rufus King, then explore Jamaica's vibrant neighborhood, local restaurants, and nearby parks before continuing your journey. Try a beef patty on Sutphin Boulevard or an authentic Dominican breakfast!

Traveling with luggage? Visitors on layovers are welcome to store suitcases at the museum during their visit, making it easy to enjoy the historic house without carrying your bags. If you're planning to bring luggage, we recommend contacting the museum ahead of your visit.
