Hands on History: Paper Luminaries

Lanterns used to light the way for many 19th century people trying to get home on a foggy night, or brightened homes with beautiful patterns punched into the tin. Learn about the decorative art side of lanterns — including some spooky myths — and make your own luminary to take home!

Hands on History is a FREE family program series held each first Saturday of the month at King Manor from 1-4pm. No reservation needed! All children and their adults must wear a mask to participate.

(While we don’t require a registration, it does help us to make sure we have enough supplies for everyone!
Plus, registering will email you a reminder so you don’t forget to join us.)
